Sean helps employees cultivate mindful, decisive leadership skills and gain confidence to succeed.
Sean received his MA and PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. During his time there, he studied issues in leadership and operations. His expertise has attracted numerous media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The Chronicle of Higher Education.
After earning his PhD, Sean joined the Learning and Development team of Worthington Industries in Columbus and spent nearly a decade there. He led, or co-led, numerous leadership seminars, co-managed a prominent employee rotation program, oversaw several employee engagement initiatives, and participated in various change management projects.
Sean’s approach to helping others comes from his own story of persistence. Once a non-athlete, he now plans to run a marathon in every state. (He’s completed 26 states and Washington, D.C.!) He credits his success to dedication, focus, and outside support. He brings that same mindset to his clients.
In addition to running, Sean enjoys reading, tennis, and travel. Most of all, he enjoys time with his wife, Joyce, and their daughters, Flora and Alice. They live in Columbus.
